Great read and insightful sharing of introspect that's almost like a subtle ode to the committment and dedication a top-tier (sort of speak) hiiring manager would often posses unbeknownst to the majority of their employees. Often times, the responsibility and impact of a final hiring decision-maker are understimated among the less-experienced management team members and this truly shines a light of humble perspective on a too often underrated role more often respected for the power rather than than admired for it's significance and impact. But, on that note and as it's mentioned, it all boils down to the leadership. Highly recommended read for any newly promoted supervisor/manager and great refresher for the long-time veterans of an upper management team.
